Marketing Gallery
Seseh, Mengwi

A sales and marketing gallery for a villa development in Seseh, Mengwi. One 80 square metre room built to do two jobs: host a meeting with a serious buyer, and let someone who’s just walked in browse the development on their own.

A Room Built Around Two Kinds Of Visitor

Some people who walk into a sales gallery already have an appointment and want to sit down with a floor plan. Others are browsing and want to look around before anyone talks to them. The room is split to match: a meeting table with proper task chairs on one side, and a lounge of a curved sofa and armchairs on the other, with a clear walking path between them.

Terracotta Plaster Instead Of A Corporate Finish

Sales offices default to white walls and grey carpet. This one is finished in a warm, hand-troweled terracotta plaster that runs floor to ceiling on every wall, which does the opposite job of a typical showroom: it feels like the villas being sold rather than a generic office you’d forget by the car park.

A Wall Built To Sell

The back and side walls carry the gallery’s real function: a large screen and a grid of framed prints showing the development itself, from aerial dusk shots to material and furniture details. The framed prints are hung in a tight two-by-two block rather than spread out, so the eye reads them as one composition instead of four separate posters.

A Lounge That Isn’t An Afterthought

The waiting area gets the same attention as the desk side: a curved cream boucle sofa with a leather throw, two rounded armchairs, a pair of low side tables and a dark patterned rug underfoot. Dried flowers and a stack of books stand in for the styling a finished villa would get, which keeps the room from reading as a temporary sales office rather than a considered space.

Seseh, Right Now

The design was completed and handed over to the client. Interior design was BBD’s scope; the gallery’s construction, opening and sales performance sit outside what we were engaged to do, and we don’t have updates to share beyond the approved design shown here.
